First off, I want to apologize for not publishing a new Bee since earlier this year. To be honest, I haven't had much of anything to put in it. But...after Christmas, I hope to get a new issue out. Time to go caving around the internet for interesting things to put in it. As always, if you have anything I could use, please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] you and yours have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

First off, I want to thank everyone for the nice comments I've been getting on the Bee. I really appreciate it :)
Now for the next Bee. I'm planning on having a special October Halloween issue out late next month. I'm looking for stories, (caving stories preferably, although anything having to do with outdoor activities will be welcome!) that have a spooky, unexplained theme to them. You know, good campfire stories that are 'supposedly' true. So anything you have, feel free to send to me! (Just for the record, I don't like or support the actual REAL meaning behind Halloween. I just enjoy the part that lets the little kid still inside everyone out to get a little scared ;)

By the way, don't forget, if you're interested in the next Mammoth Cave Restoration weekend, signup will probably start soon! Check out www.restoremammoth.com to get in on the fun :)

Til next time.....

Howdy! Just stopping in to let everyone know I'm trying to have the next Bee completed by the first day of Fall (since it IS the Summer edition), maybe earlier if time permits. There's still time to send stuff in if anyone has anything for it. I'll gladly use it! As always, when its completed, I'll post the link in the Yahoo and Facebook groups.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Don't know about where you live, but here in the middle of nowhere, its been so hot, the squirrels have stripped off their fur and are skinny-dipping in the birdbath.

I've decided to do the next issue of the Bee as a Summer issue. To be honest, right now I don't have that many articles to put one out. I'm hoping after the week long MaCa camp, someone can send me some write-ups and pictures to include. And if anyone is lucky enough to make it to the NSS convention, I beg you PLEASE send me something to put in the next issue!

So, as of right now, look for the next Bee to be out in August. Until then, the best way to beat the heat, is to be underground :)

Well, as you can see, I STILL haven't completed the next Bee. I didn't think I would be that busy not having to go to an office every day, but, apparently, I thought wrong! The good news is I FINALLY have working internet at home and have collected I think enough stuff for a nice Bee. I feel really bad I haven't had another one out for a couple of months and for that I am extremely sorry.

I do have everything together for the next issue, I just have to lay it out and upload it. Hopefully, it won't be but a few more days.

Thanks for your continued support :)

Hi,

Just wanted to fill you in on progress of the next Bee. I've been quite busy the last 2 or 3 weeks, with some family and work business. I'm actually leaving my job this coming Friday. I've worked in television production for a little over ten years now and I finally decided to quit making money for other people and do my own videography/photography work. With that being said, all my down time at work has been spent getting my various creations together and ready to leave. I never realized just how much stuff I had scattered over that many tapes! My free time at work is where I had spent working on the Bee since I currently have no internet at home. But, that is being remedied. I will have online access at (or near) home, so I can continue to stay on the information superhighway.

So anyway, long story short, (a little late for that phrase come to think of it...), the next Bee will be out as quick as I can get it done after this week is over. March and April will be combined into one issue, which is probably a good thing since I don't have that much stuff at the present time for a nice long version.

But, I just wanted to let everyone know, I hadn't quit ;) I've just been running a lap down! (The previous phrase was for any of my racing friends that may read this ;)

Hi,

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone know the status of the next Bee. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I'm running behind on the March Bee. I hope to have the next edition out within a week or so. As always, if you have anything you think would be good to put in the Bee, please submit it via this website or email :)

How I wished I were still underground.....
What a wonderful time I had this past weekend at Mammoth Cave! I was so happy to get to meet everyone I did! Hope to see you all again at the next camp. And congratulations to Bill Copeland on his first time as camp director, he did a great job :) I hope to put some pictures from Saturday's activities in the next Bee.

Til then.....

Currently, I am going through things trying to figure out if there will be enough interesting stuff to put out a February Bee. I was wanting to attempt to put one out each month, but it may end up being every other month. Still debating on that.

I still would like to have some sort of write‐up about WAW and some pictures from last month. Any length will do. :)

Other than that, I'm looking forward to MaCa camp next month! I'm tired of this cold above‐ground weather :)

Hope everyone enjoyed the Bee :) I really enjoyed working on it. If I have enough stuff, I 'may' make an attempt at one every month. I haven't made a decision on that just yet.

I plan to have the next MONTHLY newsletter out within a week. I've received some pictures via email that will be in there, a couple of cave-related news bits, and this month's meeting minutes.

So, until then, try to stay warm. :)
